LO3 Software screenshots

  In this screenshot I am showing the video transition I have used in the editing process, this shows how I used the software and where I have placed the editing. The reasoning why I have placed the editing of the black fade in at the beginning of the footage is so that the footage has a gentle beginning making the audio fade in making it a form of a VoiceOver.  This screenshot shows the location I found the name tag graphics from, this editing technique is important because it shows shows the teachers status and also their name, this is a professional looking technique that would be very useful and reduces the issue of doing an introduction of who the person involved is and their role.  In this screenshot I am showing the process of the videos being sped upusing the speed/duration with editing techniques. LO4 Special effects

No special effects   Without the special effects the teacher would not get respect or recognition for the audience would not know who they're and what they do, this also means they would not know the reason why they is speaking about the topic they is speaking about. Without the special effects the person involved is deemed irrelevant to the audience, this would be unappealing for the audience and not persuade them to attend the college if it seems to be unorganised.  Special effects By using special effects it gives the video a professional view and shows the audience information about the teachers being their name and their job role. This would make the audience have respect for the teacher because they then know the person and knows the role they play in the college. The special effects bar is a special effects graphic used to add details about the person involved, this adds the relevance on why that certain person is involved in the video.

LO2 Planning

- College building shown with a slow tilt shot with a on to the right. - A clip of a teacher and student working together with a mid shot to show the location but also the clothing they was wearing.  - A close up with a tilt down shot of a student doing work and smiling  - A clip with an over the shoulder long shot of three teenage boys sat on a couch laughing and relaxing in another room that is not a classroom. - A short interview with the principal, with a slight corner shot with the principal in the corner of the screen not looking at the camera.  - From this there is then another shot of a different student working in a different class room working independently with books in front of him, a close up with a tilt up used.  - Mid shot of a student and teacher laughing and smiling while learning practically. - Male student having an interview with a close up. - Footage of teachers teaching their classes and the students taking notes

LO2 Improvements on the video

- More media based shots - Voiceovers - Different background shots for the interviews  - Shallow depth of field on the interviews

LO3 Rushes

  This footage involves a media teacher talking about the experience working in Doncaster UTCs media course. To improve this footage I would make sure the background noise is silenced, this then means that the audio would be clearer and easier to hear. However, this footage can be used for the dialogue is of good quality and the footage looks professional and is persuasive. This footage will need to be improved because the background is too plain.  In this footage the student talks about student life and how it has changed from what they expected, this footage is raw footage so needs to e edited, however it is still useful for it shows first hand experience and the words of the students that attend the college. To improve this footage I would use a microphone so then the background noises can be silenced and the dialogue would be clearer.
