Unit 3: Create a Media product

  This footage is sample footage of what an interview may contain in the promotional video. From gathering this sample footage it allows me to gather the skills of recording an interview and what the difference is from an interview to then recording the rest of the promotional video. 

- Contingency plans Possible students to interview: Ben D, Charlie M, Emily B Possible teachers to interview: Miss Allen, Principal, Miss Agate, Mr McDonald  Possible issues that may occur:  - Interviewed people being absent -> have back up people to interview  - Weather changes -> have equipment to protect the equipment if its raining or strong winds, film on days that there is meant to be nice days for outside footage  - Equipment ruining out of charge -> have extra batteries Props: - Cameras - Mac room  - Dolly being used  - Example of students work  Activities happening throughout the video:  - Students using equipment  - Someone using software  - Interviews - Walkthroughs of media floor  Locations of filming:  - Mac room - College floors  - Front desk  - Classrooms to show equipment and interviews of teachers and students 

 

 

- Script needs to be created to be able to start filming one of the interviews for the promotional video  - Get consent forms for the students and teachers that will be featured - Gather some sample footage for the interviews with teachers and some students   - Finish the storyboard for the video (done)
